Activities for families and children

At the Christie Downs Community House, supporting local families is a big part of why we exist.

Raising young children in today’s environment is not easy. With all the pressures parents and care givers are faced with, sometimes a helping hand with care and a great space for play is needed by both the adults and the kids.

We offer a range of events and programs designed for children and families. Some of our programs have been enjoyed by hundreds and hundreds of families in the Christie Downs community over many years.

PALS Kids Group

For Primary School Aged Children

Tuesday 3.30pm to 5.30pm & Thursday 3.30pm to 5.30pm

Fun and games are on offer at our Kids Club. Children participate in games, crafts, cooking, sport.

Ring for an appointment to access.

Qualified staff on hand to support and assist your child/children to participate.

We collect the children from Christie Downs Primary School if you make arrangements with us to do so, therefore you only need to collect your child/children at the end of each session.

Please note: Cristy’s working hours are Tuesday and Thursday 1pm to 3.30pm.
